Breakdown of Costs
$150 Registration Fee, due upon registration. Please begin the passport application process now if you don’t have one already.
$1100 Airfare (if you don't have a passport yet, please start that process now, as we will need the passport number to book each person’s seat on the flight). This is an approximate number, as flight costs fluctuate. We will purchase tickets for the whole group together. If the cost winds up being lower, which we hope will be the case, the difference will be credited toward your remaining balance.
$30 Group Travel Medical Insurance which covers in- and outpatient services, emergency services, dental coverage, etc. up to $50,000. There will be options to purchase additional coverage upon registration, should you choose to, but this is the minimum coverage required.

- Activities in Quito on arrival (Otavalo, Ecuator, City Tour, lunch both days)
- Two nights hotel in Quito with breakfast, double accommodation
- Transportation by plane from Quito to Cuenca (round trip)
- Four-week Mini Group course (20 lessons per week).
- Medical Spanish lessons (10 lessons per week)
- Four weeks accommodation with 2 meals per day
- Welcome and farewell dinners
- Three excursions in Cuenca (El Cajas, Ingapirca, El Chorro de Girón).
- Three conferences with local professional speakers
- Visit to the market to observe a “limpia" (traditional healing)
- Visits to hospitals, health centers and clinics of the public and private systems
- Observation in various medical areas at Fundación "Pablo Jaramillo".
- A week of Doctor Shadowing at Fundación Pablo Jaramillo.
- School activities such as film screenings, dance classes, traditional Thursdays, cooking classes
